Gamblin Textile Black Relief Ink is the fruit of a collaboration between Drive By Press and Gamblin to create a special ink for printing carved blocks onto T-shirts. The oil-based formulation is a colourfast, smooth, rich black that dries without heat curing.
The following instructions should give you the best results:
Once you have inked your block, lightly spray your fabric with water. Placing the block face down onto the fabric, pass it through a press twice. Allow the fabric to air dry only, DO NOT HEAT SET. Drying times will vary depending on the fabric, ink thickness, temperature, and humidity - approximately 3-7 days. Allow another week or two to fully cure before running it through the laundry.
