The easel is what I expected and looks good. I would have appreciated having a few verbal instructions on how to assemble it as well as the diagrams as I haven't much experience of putting things together. However, I succeeded so the instructions must be adequate. I was pleased that the holes for the screws were very accurate.

Having just purchased the above easel thought some comments may held others looking for such an easel. First point to consider is the weight. This model is ideal, easy to lift yet solid to use. I looked at a slightly cheaper easel and it was half the weight, probably would be easy to knock over. Secondly as it comes with plain wood, ideal if you want to stain it, or better still a couple of coats of varnish (before assembly) Read the instructions thoroughly and use glue when inserting the wooden dowels to give extra strength. Service as always excellent delivered next working day. Well packed only slight split on one part, but a bit of glue, left overnight in a vice problem solved. In summary, well made solid easel and at a really good price. On with the painting!

After searching long and hard for a decent easel with a smaller price tag, I was delighted to find this bargain! I was pleasantly surprised with the quality for the price, and it was easy to assemble. It is sturdy yet easy to fold up. It is perfect for an art student on a budget (such as myself)! Always so happy with my purchases from Crafty Arts.
