Very well made ruler. Replaced my helix cutting ruler which was made from aluminium. Silly as blades are made of steel and cut into the ruler. This stainless steel ruler, however, is stronger and allows for the cutting blade to slide safely without gouging out pieces of the ruler. Also is cheaper too.

The 30cm Safety Rule is one of the safest tools for cutting against a straight edge and thanks to its 'M' shape profile it allows you to rest your fingers in the trough keeping them away from the cutting edge. The ruler uses both CM and MM along the edges. Due to its steel structure it is very robust.
