At the time I bought this I assumed it was painting by numbers. When I opened it it was clear that it was meant for someone of a higher ability than me. There were no numbers and you had to start by making a kind of wash as the base colour and a lot of mixing colours to get the necessary colour. As a product for the more able the whole package is excellent value and the end product will be a great picture.
