Crafty Arts Summer Camp for Kids
Can you believe the summer is almost over and school is about to start again? We can’t. It has sped by so fast and busy planning all our after school clubs, Home Education lessons and a few more Adult workshops to add to the list. |It may be the end of the summer but we still have workshops to entertain the kids.
This week is our last week of workshops and we have some gems left for you.
Tuesday starts off with Mono printing. It’s the art of printing, you use plates, inks rollers and your own artwork to create beautiful prints. This really is the perfect class for all ages and if you need to go take a break or want to pop over to Tescos to do the shopping then you can. Your children will create beautiful prints that you will be proud to frame and hang in your home and not just the bedroom.
Then in the Afternoon, we have unicorns and dinosaurs Decopatch. This is a great class again for all ages you cant be too old nor too young to enjoy the class. Decoupaging is a simple but effective craft that has been popular for centuries. The children will select papers and glue them to their chosen creature. And if they finish with plenty of time then they can help us complete Jeffery our oversized paper mâché elephant who needs a little work to get her looking extra special.
Is all about clay and Mermaids. In the morning you can create whatever you like in this tactile workshop. We have different airdry clays to play with. Use water and tools to create a number of items.
Then its time for the Mermaid fish tank workshops that we can’t wait for. Last time the children made really amazing fish tanks filled with mermaids and sea creatures. They decorated the outside of the bowl and waited to get home before they put water in them. Make sure you book for both Thursday and Friday.
Pencil drawing is back. This has been a super popular class, drawing from still life and improving your child’s perception and drawing skills. Here is a time to brush up on skills just before school starts back again. They will explore mark making and create a few drawings in the two hours available.
Here at Crafty Arts we don’t like to limit what the children want to learn. Our tutors think on their feet and are creative enough to help your children adapt their image from their minds to real life. We want them to really explore their creative side in our workshops, they really can create what they want!
