The Great British Knit – King Cole is joining our range
I am so excited that we are extending our Knitting and Crochet yarns by your request. In doing we are proud that King Cole will be joining the range.
We chose King Cole because they have been producing knitting and crochet materials since 1935. Today they are still classed as a leading UK and international supplier and proud winners of the Queens award for enterprise in 2012.
There are so many patterns for beginner knitters or crocheters. Many of these projects can be done in a few hours, however it’s the type of projects that you can always go back to if needed.
We are clearly coming to the end of our Summer going by the temperature outside. So to get you inspired here are a few patterns to help you along the way.
Crochet Coffee Cozy
This project was found on one artsy mama. This is a great way to jazz up your take away mug, make it personal and also keep your hot beverages warm.
As a beginner crocheter a dishcloth is probably the easiest item to try and make due to the size. I found this pattern on Bubblegirl.
She has made the steps really easy to follow and has even given abbreviations. I will definitely be trying this project out myself.
If you have tried knitting and can’t get the hang of it, or you don’t fancy giving it ago. Here is a great pattern to arm knit a scarf, they say that you will have a finish product in an hour tops. Check out the Kurtz Corner You Tube Video and step by step directions.
We have also extended our ranged of Hoooked Zpagetti that include new kits.
As you can see I have made a start with Hoooked, I will let you know how the cushion comes out.
Hope that you will have as much fun as me, trying out these patterns.
