Jigsaw Puzzles

Jigsaw Puzzles were first created by painting a picture on a flat rectangle shaped piece of wood, then the picture would be cut into small pieces, this was then commercialised in 1760 by John Spilbury. In later years Jigsaws were printed on cardboard.

Typical images found on puzzles would include famous buildings, castles, nature views and mountains. But these days if images can be found on posters, you will generally find it on a puzzle.

During recent years jigsaw accessories have been created. Things such as portapuzzles, Jigsaw rolls and puzzle glues, that are aimed to assist the enthusiast.
